It is summer, the use of air conditioning is indispensable. At present, the car owners are not very aware of the maintenance of the car air conditioner. They only use it without considering the maintenance methods of the air conditioner, which will easily lead to air conditioning problems in the long run. So, what are the problems of air conditioning system?

1. Clean water tank and condenser

Water tank and condenser are important components of vehicle cooling system and air conditioning. With the long-term use of vehicles, dust, sand and catkins will be mixed in the gap between them, which will affect the water temperature and the performance of air conditioning.

2. Check the air conditioning pressure and replace the refrigerant

Firstly, check that (H) is the high-pressure detection tube and (L) is the low-pressure detection tube. Connect the fluorine pressure gauge respectively. After the fluorine pressure gauge is connected, the vehicle starts to start idling. At this time, turn on the air conditioning switch, turn on the air conditioning system to the maximum, and start the operation detection. The high pressure of the pressure detection in idle state should not exceed 300, and the low pressure in the idle state should not exceed 60.

After idling for a few minutes, observe the pressure change of the pressure gauge by increasing the speed of oil feeding, and check whether the air conditioning compressor operates normally. Then take out the refrigeration medium (134a) of the original factory, which is generally between 250g and 300g. After receiving the pressure gauge, it is suggested that one bottle should be used for two or three years, and two bottles can be added for some models.

3. How to choose good oil viscosity in summer?

In summer, many car owners complain about oil consumption. In fact, in summer, they can choose lubricating oil with lower viscosity. Of course, this is also under the premise of better vehicle condition and less wear. For the old cars with more kilometers and longer service life, the lubricating oil with slightly higher viscosity should be used.

4. How to clean air duct and replace filter element?

The service life of the original air conditioner filter element of the automobile is 12000 km, which is generally under normal conditions. The method of cleaning the ventilation duct is very simple, which is to block the air outlet with a wet towel, and adjust the air conditioning wind speed to the maximum, so that the dust will be absorbed on the towel. In addition, air duct cleaning agent can be used to assist high-pressure air gun cleaning for 2 to 3 times to achieve the purpose of cleaning.

5. How to clean the mildew smell of air conditioner?

Some car owners will find that when the air conditioner is turned on, a musty smell will blow out from the air outlet. This is because the air supply duct is not cleaned in time. The simplest way is to clean the air duct of the air conditioner. As we mentioned earlier, users can purchase air conditioner cleaning agent to assist in the operation. When the air conditioner is used, it should not be turned off immediately, but continue to turn on the air supply switch for 5 minutes. In addition, vehicles must pay attention to the use of internal and external circulation system in the summer. Many models are now automatic air-conditioning, while some models are manual air-conditioning. At this time, we should pay attention to it. When the external circulation is adopted, the air conditioning is supplied from the outside of the vehicle, while the internal circulation is used for the air circulation inside the vehicle.
